By the people, for the people

Part of the problem with the idea of the people, by the people, for the people is that it has turned into an ideal.  The people have forgotten

that the government is supposed to be us, not run us, rule us or regulate us.  We are supposed to be participating in the process of self-rule

and self-regulation not be forced into it by some ideal of quasi-respectable government we can all bitch about and never be satisfied with.

Everyone is upset with the government.  Here is the problem with ideas – they are just ideas until they are put into action.  Somebody,

please, define for me what is meant by, "The Government". Who is stopping any of us from being a part of "The Government" If you want to

take part in the process, take part, no one is stopping you. People who are passionate and ready to step up  and assume leadership roles

are just what this country needs to get her up and running at full speed again. It just annoys the heck out of me when individuals speak of or

complain about "The Government" without defining who they are talking about. It literally drives my crazy that they can’t see they are the

government. Hey, if you don’t want to be a politician? Fine. How about working with a government agency. The VA needs volunteers all the

time to help with veterans and to organize veterans events. Too military? Not a problem, there are seriously thousands of opportunities for

individuals to get involved with other agencies and be a part of the process. Great idea but sadly…..the bad thing about ideas is that they

 accomplish absolutely nothing without action.
